Associate
Director of Community Development
The Associate Director of Community Development
is responsible for the management and coordination of various
fundraising programs, activities and donor relations. Through a
commitment to the mission and values of the University this position
is responsible for planning, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding
a portfolio of constituents, including but not limited to:
University trustees, community members, businesses and civic
organizations, faculty, staff and students of Schreiner University
residing mainly in the immediate Kerrville area.

Bachelor’s
Degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Preference to
psychology, English, or sociology majors.

At least three
years of successful work experience in a related field including
fund raising, public relations, direct marketing and/or sales.
Direct personal solicitation experience required.

Excellent
verbal, visual and written communication skills.

Experience in a
higher education environment is desired.

Well organized,
systematic thinker.

Ability to
travel overnight when necessary. Ability to work weekends and
evenings.

The ability to
work with and motivate a broad spectrum of people including
board members, entrepreneurs, professionals, executives,
advisors, students, volunteers, faculty and staff members.

Security Officer - Part Time
8 – 16 hours per week with Rotating Shifts on weekends (days,
evenings, nights) and nights during the week. SUMMARY OF
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a responsible, non-supervisory position. Duties include
patrolling an assigned area, generally by vehicle, to prevent crime,
enforce laws, field routine complaints and take appropriate action
on such complaints.

Learning Support
Services Program Aide
Schreiner University accepts employment applications on a continual basis
for program aides. Program
aides may be responsible
for assisting with alternative testing as a monitor, reader or
scribe. When assisting with alternative testing, the aide will
report to LSS in a timely manner as scheduled and will conform to
LSS Testing Policies and Procedures with special attention being
paid to maintaining security of tests.

Library Systems/Web
Services Librarian
This position is
responsible for the oversight of the library’s systems and web-based
services. Specific duties include, but are not limited to,
participating in the planning, development, and management of a
broad range of library electronic services such as managing the
library automation system (Voyager); assisting in the design and
maintenance of the library web presence, creating appropriate online
research instruction, and moving library services into the Web 2.0
environment. In addition, all librarians are expected to handle
subject-area collection development and to serve in regular
reference rotation, sporadically including nights and weekends.

MLS or equivalent degree from an ALA accredited
program

Experience
with system administration of an integrated online system
(Voyager preferred)
