Employee Assistance Program

What is an EAP?

An EAP is a benefit that is easy to use and helps employees by encouraging them to get help for problems affecting their lives.  The EAP is FREE to employees and family members.  The EAP is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Employees and their family can get help for a variety of problems such as:
Depression…Substance Abuse…Stress...Domestic Violence…Eating Disorders…Parenting…Problems with children or adolescents…Marital/Relationship Issues…Loss/Grief…Child/Elder Care…Financial Problems…Legal Problems… and more!

All counselors are master’s level and/or certified or licensed. The focus of the EAP is assessment and referral with short-term counseling when a problem can be resolved in a few sessions.  Referrals are made to treatment providers and/or community resources when more extensive care is needed.
